Here are some pictures from the "Feeding America" & "Ronald McDonald House" Service Projects that took place on Saturday, October 16th. Thank you to Hanson and Amy for coordinating these two service projects! We appreciate all of the members and officers time and hard work!
FEEDING AMERICA Hanson Lee's "Feeding America" Service Project was a great success! PASS members and officers helped tackle poverty in San Diego by packaging and distributing food so agencies can sell it at an affordable price for low income communities. Feeding America is a hunger-relief charity that sends 1.2 million pounds of food per month to those in need.
RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE Amy Triano's "Ronald McDonald House" Service Project was hard work, but fun! PASS members and officers helped organize and rearrange the storage room so staff would be able to conveniently locate items. The Ronald McDonald House is a place that caters to children when they undergo extensive and lengthy hospital treatments. This place also allows families with very ill children at Rady Children's Hospital to stay for a very small fee to allows parents to remain close to their children during treatment.

We look forward to having our prior members back with us and invite prospective members to join in on the events. Please come to our first General Body Meeting on October 13! We’ll be hosting two very exciting speakers and providing details on our community service events, socials, and a brand new Member of the Month competition. The Pre-Medical Association of Students for Service (PASS) is a student organization dedicated to serving the local community, and providing our members with useful information regarding medicine and health related professions and preparation. Each year PASS members participate in over 75 service projects and complete over 3000 hours of community service. PASS is open to all UCSD undergraduate students. Please contact us at

PASS has donated $500 to the earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of those affected by this disaster and the rescue crews.
