Greetings PASS Members,
Hope that fall quarter is going well for all of you! This is a reminder email to all of you that our 1st general body meeting of the quarter is this Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 7:00pm-8:00pm, at Peterson 108.
The topic will be on “What is Emergency Medicine and How can I learn More without Becoming a Patient?” Dr. Gary Vilke from the UCSD Medical Center will be coming to talk about Emergency Medicine and the EM Research Associate Program. The program is committed to creating a positive atmosphere of enthusiastic and energetic volunteers. Volunteers will have direct one-on-one patient interaction and will also work closely with Emergency Department physicians and nurses on various clinical research projects.
Teach For America is coming to talk about becoming lifelong leaders for expanding educational opportunity for all children.
You can pay dues and officers will be there to answer any questions. Also, you will be able to sign up for projects at the GBM.
Food and drinks will be provided.
