PHOTOS

For all you photographers! PASS would like to make a record of all the events this past year and make a delicious scrapbook!  So if you have any photos, please send them to robin@ucsdpass.org

 

PASS ARCHIVES

Remember to request your study materials from the pass archives this week. Paid members can email requests to archives@ucsdpass.org in accordance with our online policy. Please remember the archives at the end of the year to submit your old materials. Additional note: archives does not contain any lab reports and does not accept submissions of lab reports for any course.

 

TAPIOCA EXPRESS FUNDRAISER

Friday, May 29th, 1:00 pm – Midnight

If you pay a visit to Tapioca Express on May 29th from 1pm to midnight and bring our fundraiser flyer, not only will you get 5% off your purchase but PASS will also get 15% for our community donations.
Both the locations of Tapioca Express (UCSD and VONS shopping center) will accept our flyer. Treat yourself with 5% off and help PASS all at once!!

Attached is a list of Service Points for you to peruse.  Please note that some projects have not been added as of yet.  You are required to complete 6 project points and 2 social points to be considered an active member. 

For all members- Please make sure that your name is spelled correctly!

 

OTHER ORGANIZATIONS- Eco Surf Volunteers
The elementary school Escuela Bilingue los Algarrobos in the historic fishing village of Canoa, Ecuador, is seeking volunteers to teach English as a second language
.


Volunteers will receive a stipend of $200 per month and will be working directly with children grades K-6.  The school will assist in obtaining all lodging and visas as necessary.

BJ’S FUNDRAISER DINNER

Tuesday, May 26th, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Need another social point? Want to have a good time?
Join us for our BJ's Fundraiser Dinner.
15% of our meal purchase will go towards PASS.

We will meet in front of BJ's at 7pm. No need to email the coordinator, just show up. BJ's is on Villa La Jolla Dr. and is in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's (its on the other side of the shopping center to Trader Joe's, closer to Villa La Jolla Dr.)(Near T.G.I. Friday's). The officers will bring the fundraiser flyer, so don’t worry about that!

You can reach BJ's by taking the MTS 30 bus and get off at the same stop you would for Ralphs. You can also take the Nobel Shuttle and get off at the 2nd stop.
PASS officers will be happy to give you rides back to campus after the dinner.

The Preuss School, a nationally recognized charter middle and high school located right here at UCSD, is looking for tutors. It's a great and easy way to give back, meet some wonderful and accomplished students and take a break from studying. We have classes
from 6th grade to 12th grade. Preuss is located on the east side of campus, next to Scripps Hospital. You can use the East Parking Shuttle, which will drop you off across the street from Preuss. Weekday tutoring is possible as well- contact Lisa Sugimori for more information

 

NOTE: Before any tutoring you MUST go to an orientation with Eva Mejia, the volunteer coordinator at Preuss School. There are NO orientations in the middle of the quarter that are not listed.  There are no more scheduled orientations for the academic year.
