Finals are just a few days from this date and I am giving everyone the opportunity to earn social points for STUDYING!! That’s right, you read it correctly, social points for studying! Come on down to UCSD campus and get your studying on before those darn Finals.  Enjoy a great morning of cramming in those last few hours of reading inside the Biomedical library at UCSD before the big tests.  The great thing about this social is that there will be other PASS members there that I bet are even in those same horrible/dreadful classes that you are taking.  This means that is not only a social but a free group study session if needed.  Feel free to come and study for an hour, grab a bite to eat and head on back to some more terrific studying!

Coordinator: Teresa Bau    (tbau@ucsd.edu)

Thursday, April 16th, 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Hey guys,
I spent my last summer volunteering at an NGO in southern India (Bangalore) called Jagruthi (they serve most of the country), a branch network involved with the worldwide UNICEF. This organization aims to address the growing spread of HIV/AIDS amongst children, women, males and marginalized and vulnerable populations in and around Southern India, rescuing women and children from the sex trafficking industry. Partnered with International House in ERC college, this fundraiser aims to donate money to this particular NGO.

This will be an Indian Cultural Celebration! Thus....
1.) Food preparation (yes, we will be cooking) will begin at 4:30pm
2.) Dinner will be served ~6:30pm
3.) We are inviting various performers/speaker to perform and the program will start ~7pm to 9pm, SOOOOOO if you or any of your friends might be interested in singing, dancing, performing, talking about HIV/AIDS or sex trafficking for this event, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BY APRIL 13TH!!!

Tickets for the public (those not helping out with the event or performing) will be $5 for students, $8 for the general public.
